THANI’s 2020 Net Profit Drops 5% to ฿1.8Bn, Offering a Dividend of ฿0.17
Ratchthani Leasing Public Company Limited (THANI) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2020 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
For the overall performance of 2020, THANI’s net profit was 1,860.65 million baht, a decrease of 5.26% YoY. The total revenue was 4,222.23 million baht, an increase of 136.01 million baht or 3.33% from 2019, and interest expenses of 2020 were 1,063.47 million baht, an increase of 52.12 million baht or 5.15%. For the impairment expected credit loss was 337.91 million baht, an increase of 144.38 million baht or 74.60%. The increasing ECL was resulted from an increase in credit risk during an economic slowdown caused by COVID-19 pandemic.
For the fourth quarter of 2020, the net profit of THANI was 479.86 million baht. The total income was 1,069.76 million baht, financial cost was 254.19 million baht, the selling and administrative expense was 130.29 million baht and expected credit loss was 95.60 million baht. The Total Assets was 48,518.01 million baht, the total liabilities was 37,699.32 million baht and the total equity was 10,818.68 million baht.
In addition, the Board of Directors of THANI approved a resolution for a dividend payment of ฿0.17/share to be paid on April 27, 2021. The ex-dividend date is March 4, 2021.
