HANA’s 2020 Earnings Expand 6% to ฿1.9Bn, Offering a Dividend of ฿0.75 with XD on Mar 11
Hana Microelectronics Public Company Limited (HANA) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2020 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
HANA’s net profit increased by 6% to 1,908 million baht in 2020 from 1,805 million baht in 2019 due to higher operating profits more than offsetting an decrease in exchange gain of 199 million in 2020.
Sales revenue decreased 5% YoY, at 19.3 billion baht in year 2020 from 20.4 billion baht in year 2019 due to market weakness from the lower sales revenues in Q2 and Q3 and reduction of inventories held by customers in Q1-Q3 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gross profit increased by 357 million baht with the gross margin being 13% in 2020 up 2 percentage points from 11% in 2019 due to lower materials cost related exchange rate movements from Q419 to Q120, reduced overtime and labour and salary cost reductions.
In addition, the Board of Directors of HANA had a resolution to pay a dividend payment of ฿0.75/share to be paid on May 17, 2021. The ex-dividend date is March 11, 2021.
