ITD Signs Early Works Agreement for High-Speed Rail Linking Three Airport Worth ฿3.6Bn

Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) announced that on March 31, 2021 the company signed a contract with Eastern High-Speed Rail Linking Three Airports Company Limited (EHSR) to proceed with the Early Works Agreement relating to Civil Works forming part of the EPC Contract for the High-Speed Rail Linking Three Airport in Thailand, with the contract value of 3,603,728,000 baht.

 

The Early Works consist of the Work Activities that are required to performed in advance of the Notice to Proceed which will be notified by the State Railway of Thailand, while the NTP date is expected not later than 23 October 2021, so as to assure that the Construction of the Civil Works can be achieved and be delivered within the Stipulated Period of Time. The work will begin construction from April1,2021 to August 31, 2021.

 

The Early Works Activities (OR Pre-NTP activities) include the following:

1. Contractor’s Preliminaries

-Transportation

-Offices /Camps/ laboratories and Yard Establishment

-Pre-cast Yard Establishment

-Pre-assembly Yards

-Environmental Monitoring/Securities and Traffic management

-Soil Investigation for HSR Section

2. Baseline Design

3. Elevated Structures

-Access Road Construction

-Temporary Bridges Construction (HSRSection)

-Special Tests (Field Tests and Lab Tests)

-Purchase Full Span Launching Equipment

-Purchase launching Gantries

4. Utilities Relocation
