The package includes the reduction of water and electricity bills for a period of two months, from May to June 2021.
Student loan payment holiday will extend until the end of this year as well as soft loans to support liquidity for SMEs at 0.01% interest rate per annum.
Social security members who have to be quarantined or committed furlough due to the pandemic will be compensated under Section 33 of the Social Security Act.
Furthermore, the cabinet has announced the extension of loan payment holidays for Specialized Financial Institutions (SFIs)’s clients till the end of this year to support liquidity.
