BCH’s Net Profit Surges 25% to ฿323Mn in 1Q due to a Higher Revenue from General Patient
In 1Q21, the profit attributable to BCH amounted to 323.77 million, an increase of 64.63 million baht or 24.94%.
Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (BCH) has announced its 1Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
In the first quarter of 2021, BCH reported total revenue of 2,383.36 million baht, an increase comparing to the same period of last year in the amount of 186.79 million baht or 8.50%, with the proportion of general patient revenue accounting of 63.66%, 33.54% from the Social Security patients, and 2.80% from other revenue. Meanwhile, the company has continued its cost effective policies which resulted in a gross profit of 697.53 million baht, an increase of 34.59 million baht or 5.22%. The profit attributable to BCH amounted to 323.77 million, an increase of 64.63 million baht or 24.94%.
The company’s gross profit margin decreased from 30.44% to 30.11%, the operating profit margin increased from 17.67% to 19.87%, profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization margin increased from 25.72% to 28.96%, and profit margin attributable to shareholders of the company increased from 11.80% to 13.58% accordingly.
