Phuket Requires Arriving Visitors to Present Vaccine Passport-Negative Covid Test Proof
Phuket announced today (May 31), all visitors arriving by air will be requested to declare the vaccine passport of the proof of negative Covid test.
Phuket announced today (May 31), all visitors arriving by air from June 1, 2021 onwards will be requested to declare the following documents:
1) Visitors must get 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccination or at least one dose of AstraZeneca vaccine, unless they have recovered from Covid-19 within 90 days or have been tested for the virus using RT-PCR or Antigen Rapid Test within seven days from the test date. The local authority has the right to deny entry to anyone who does not present the required documents. Children under the age of five will be exempt.
2) Upon arrival in Phuket, visitors must download the application “MorChana” to their smartphones and permit the app to track their locations during their stay.
3) Registration online at www.gophuget.com will be required in order to notify Thai local authorities of the arrival in Phuket.
4) Visitors must be aware of symptoms. And all tourists shall avoid gathering in dense areas.
