Thai AirAsia Prolongs Flight Suspension Until August 31
AAV extends a period for temporary suspension of its all scheduled domestic commercial flight operations starting July 12, 2021 until August 31, 2021.
Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (AAV) announces the extension of a period for temporary suspension of its all scheduled domestic commercial flight operations starting July 12, 2021 until August 31, 2021 or further announcement by governments and related regulatory authorities, due to the severely continuing epidemic situation of COVID-19 and the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) made an announcement about the operation for Airline operators during the current COVID-19 pandemic situation to be prohibited for passenger flight operations in certain restricted areas and Red areas, from July 21,2021 until end of the situation or further announcement as well as governments continued imposing travel and movement restrictions.
AAV will continue to evaluate the situation closely and we are prepared to reinstate our services as soon as the situation improves and the regulations are eased.
