Asian Markets are Mixed Despite U.S. Markets Rallied Overnight

Asian stocks are mixed on Tuesday despite U.S. shares rose last night on optimism as traders priced in global economies can weather off recovery risk.

KOSPI, TOPIX, CSI300, HSI are trading up by 0.04%, 0.86%, 0.25% and 0.15% respectively.

The SET opened up by 0.34% while the MSCI Asian broad market index excluding Japan is up by 0.05% on Tuesday.

China’s central bank on weekend signaled more economic support by injecting short-term liquidity into the economy. Evergrande faces another round of test as bond coupon payment due on Tuesday.

U.S. short term treasuries rose while longer term stayed steady.

In the commodity market, oil rose higher as current shocked poses to be temporary.
