Asian Markets are Mixed while U.S. Equities Rallied Ahead of Year End
U.S. equities reached another all time high while Asian equities are mixed on Thursday
Asian stocks were mixed Thursday after U.S. shares edged up to another all-time high overnight ahead of end of the year.
KOSPI inched down by 0.31% while TOPIX, CSI300, HSI and SET inched up by 0.05%, 1.05%, 0.57 and 0.08% respectively.
The 10-year Treasury yield’s advance took it above its 50-day moving average for the first time in about a month. Australia’s 10-year bond yield increased too. A dollar gauge was steady and crude oil rose.
