SISB’s 2018 Profit Jumps 5 Times from 18M. to 103M. due to Increasing Number of Students

SISB Public Company Limited (SISB) has reported a consolidated financial statement yearly 2018 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

SISB’s revenue for the 12-months period ended December 31, 2017 and 2018 were THB 746.35 million and THB 947.35 million, respectively. Revenue increased by THB 201.00 million or 26.93%.

The company’s profit increased tremendously by 477.77% from THB 17.92 million in 2017 to THB 103.52 million in 2018. The increase of profit was due to opening Singapore International School Thonburi and most of administrative expenses are related to the fixed cost also, leading to increase in net income as the increasing number of students.
Tuition fee income was THB 695.28 million in 2017 and THB 875.36 million in 2018, increased by 25.90% resulting from the number of students that increased to 2,222 or 12.39%. In addition, average tuition fee income per student increased to THB 0.42 million per student in December 2018, growing at 10.40% from the same period of previous year. This partly came from an increase in ECA revenue.
