AAV Admits Eyeing to Take NOK from “Jurangkul”, but No Commitment as of Now

AAV has admitted that the company has discussed with NOK regarding this matter, but has not made any agreement.


Regarding the rumors of Nok Airlines Public Company Limited (NOK) and Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (AAV) are in the process of the latter to take over NOK by purchasing its shares from “Jurangkul’s Group,” the major shareholders. Earlier today, AAV admits that the two companies had been in 2-3 meetings on this matter, but did not have any agreement as of now.

AAV reports to the Stock Exchange of Thailand, concerning information appear in the news in relation to an acquisition of shares in NOK from the Jurangkool group, AAV would like to clarify that it is currently considering whether such investment is appropriate, but there have not been any written agreements nor any actions taken that are binding on AAV with respect to the acquisition of NOK shares. In any event, we will promptly notify the SET, if there is any progress or material change on this issue.
