DMF Approve SEAOIL to Produce Oil within DD Field in Suphan Buri Province

Sea Oil Public Company Limited (SEAOIL) informed the company received a report from Pan Orient Energy (Siam) Ltd. (POES), which is a company’s subsidiary holds 49.99% shares, has been approved from the DD Production License (PL) concession number L53/48 of 2.2 square kilometers in Suphan Buri province by the Director– General of Mineral Fuels Department (DMF) with the consent from the Petroleum Committee. This approval is enable POES to produce oil from four wells (D1, D2, D3 and D4) which have been drilled and completed within the DD field.

 

Prior to the PL approval, POES has received a permission from DMF to temporarily produce oil from the DD-1 well and the DD-2 well for testing purposes for 90 days. The primary purposes of the well testing were to measure the well capabilities and also to determine the size of reservoirs which has been used to support the PL approval application. The DD-3 well and the DD-4 well have never been putting on line for testing. POES production update will be provided in approximately 7 to 10 days after the well commencement on April 25, 2019.
