AOT’s “Nitinai” Confirms a Fair Process, Keep Eyes on Possibility of MINT Going to Court

Mr. Nitinai asserts that the regulation has been written in the TOR that proposing with different entity’s work experience is not allowed.

Today, May 27, 2019, Mr. Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, President of Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) has made a statement regarding the dispute between Minor International Public Company Limited (MINT) and AOT over the decision making of Suvarnabhumi commercial area concession that MINT claimed of receiving an unjust qualification process by AOT.

In the statement, Mr. Nitinai has confirmed that MINT’s request has been carefully and cautiously processed by AOT’s business administration department. Primarily, Mr. Nitinai sees that MINT, as a proposed entity, submitted the work experience of The Minor Food Group Public Company Limited, which is a different entity of MINT while asserting that the regulation has been written in the TOR that proposing with different entity’s work experience is not allowed.

In addition, if MINT is still insisted on the case, the dispute could go to the court.
