“Sarath” Scoopes a Million Share of GULF after a Panic Selloff in Power Generation Sector

Today 04 July 2019, Mr. Sarath Ratanavadi, a director and chief executive officer of Gulf Energy Development PCL (GULF) has submitted the report on changes of securities and derivatives holding to SEC for purchasing 1 million shares of GULF at the price of ฿125.50/share for a total amount of ฿219,003,102 million.

During today’s trading session, there were rumours in the trading room of the government to takeover power generator companies while other companies in the energy sector aimed for delisting from the market. As a result, shares in power generator sector faced a huge selloff from panicking investors. However, the rumours earlier had been proved to be just rumours.
