COM7 Sells 59M Shares to “BTS” to Strengthen Marketing Strategy for Higher Growth
Sura and executives of COM7 have sold a big lot of COM7’s shares for a total of 70,500,000 shares, equivalent to 5.87% of COM7’s paid-up capital.
Mr. Sura Khanittaweekul, CEO of COM7 Public Company Limited (COM7) has revealed that on July 5, 2019, he and higher executives of COM7 had sold a big lot of COM7’s shares for a total of 70,500,000 shares worth THB 1,510,000,000, equivalent to 5.87% of COM7’s paid-up capital at an average price of ฿22.00/share, lower than the trading price on the same day by ฿0.57/share or 2.6%.
A total of 59,000,000 shares had been sold to BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (BTS) while the remaining of 11,500,000 shares were sold to interested individual investors.
Mr. Sura Khanittaweekul has asserted that the change would not affect any of COM7’s Board and Directors’ structure, as well as business policy. He also sees a potential of doing business with BTS as it has strong marketing strategy along with possible partnership in advertising, logistics, e-commerce business etc. in the future.
