EPCO’S 2Q19 Profit Increases to ฿125 Million from the Sales Revenues and Profits Sharing

Eastern Printing Public Co., Ltd. (EPCO) has reported its 2Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

EPCO recorded 2Q2019 net profit of THB 125.01 million in comparison with net profit of THB 8.62 for the same period the previous year, an increase of THB 116.39 million or 1,350.23% and for the 6 months period was THB 171 million  in comparison with net profit of THB 158.10 for the same period the previous year, an increase of THB 13.69 million or 8.66%.

For the 2Q2019, the revenue from sales increased to THB 412.28 million or 65.38% YoY mainly due to the increase of printing business income, WPS, and electricity sale in Vietnam and Japan. Moreover, EPCO recognized profit from investment in the associated companies in the amount of THB 122.74 million, increasing by 544.55%.
