SCN Disposes “Mitsubishi Auto” Dealership, Booking ฿310m to Strengthen Energy Businesses

Scan Inter Public Company Limited (SCN) has announced that the resolutions of the Board of Directors meeting No.6/2019, held on November 14, 2019, which approved a resolution to dispose of ownership, possessory right, utilization and other rights that are relevant to the assets which specialize to be operated in Mitsubishi Auto dealer business, has been completed on 27 December 2019.

 

SCN has disposed its holding rights on Mitsubishi Auto dealer business to Able Motors Pathum Thani Company Limited and Able Motors Pakkret Company Limited, 100% owned by AAPICO. The total amount of this transaction is THB 310,370,532.00.

 

The disposal is to increase the company’s competitiveness and strengthen the capacity to invest, in response to domestic and regional business opportunities arising from various strategic development & investment plans.

Nowadays, the company has continued to invest, domestically and regionally, in sizable green energy projects, particularly in Minbu Solar Plant, Myanmar and Solar rooftop project (with Private PPA). The mentioned projects are aimed to generate sustainable growth and a long-term appropriate rate of return which will firmly correspond with the company’s investment policies.
