GPSC Insists New Electricity Bill Measure Having No Significant Effect

Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC) has issued a statement in accordance with the resolution of Cabinet meeting to economic stimulation on March 10, 2020. The stimulus package which included measure on electricity tariff remaining the Ft rate for May 2020 at the rate of -11.60 satang per unit and reducing electricity tariff by 3% for all users for 3 months (April – June 2020).

GPSC announced that there shall not be significantly impact to financial performance. In addition, the current situation in crude oil price has been decreasing resulting in the fall in natural gas price which is majority cost of production. Therefore, this will be a positive impact to GPSC’s performance.
