TPIPP Acquires the Construction-Management of Solid Waste Disposal Project in Korat

TPI Polene Power Public Company Limited (TPIPP) informed that on March 24, 2021, the Private Procurement Committee for the construction and management of solid waste disposal project, phase 2 in Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality has announced that TPIPP has been selected to jointly invest in the project by selection method.

 

 According to the terms and conditions as stipulated in the Terms of Reference, the minimum quantity of solid waste fed to the project is not less than 400 tons per day and the operation period of solid waste disposal to generate electricity is 20 years, with tipping fee from waste disposal of not exceeding 400 baht per tons for the first year, adjustable upward by 10% in every 3 years, to reflect the average inflation rate as announced by the Ministry of Commerce, and receive revenue from electricity sales derived from waste disposal under a power purchase agreement of 9.9MW for the period of 20 years, at the rate of 5.78 baht per unit for the first 8 years and 5.08 baht per unit for another 12 years, respectively.
