– SAWAD and Government Savings Bank launched a campaign that offers low-interest auto title loans at the rate starting 14.99% per annum, compared with market average of 19-20%. SAWAD set a 2021 revenue target from loans of 20 billion baht. “Thida Kaewbootta” said the company also plans to boost revenue from motorcycle leases and personal loans. Additionally, the analysts saw this campaign will affect SAWAD’s share price in the short-term.

 

– BGRIM to import the first 250,000 tonnes of LNG in the second half of this year to feed its five gas-fired power plants under SPP Replacement program. The company expected electricity consumption to increase 10-15% this year. 

 

– Investors switched from Blue-Chip stocks to cheap stocks such as CIMBT, SIRI, RML. Analysts saw CIMBT is still laggard as it has a high BVPS of ฿1.19/share, while free float is 5%. 

 

– ACE signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) of a combined 50MW installed capacity of Nabon 1 and Nabon 2 Clean Energy Power Plants with EGAT. Meanwhile, SUPER expected revenue this year to exceed 10 billion baht due to a full-year contribution from a 550MW solar farm in Vietnam, also planned to advance in 4 additional Vietnamese wind farms with a combined production capacity of 421MW.

 

– JMT confirmed earnings in 2021 will grow 30% and the company will mainly focus on an asset management company (AMC). At the same time, Capital Nomura Securities (CNS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on SINGER with a new target price of ฿46.00/share due to an upside risk from bringing SGC to list on market.

 

– KTB set to issue a US$600 million perpetual bonds offering to the overseas institutional investors with a fixed distribution interest rate of 4.4% per annum in order to boost the Tier1 Capital Fund.
