“Christian Eriksen” Regains Consciousness after Collapsing in Denmark-Finland Euro 2020

Christian Eriksen, a 29-year old Denmark midfielder, collapsed during the Euro 2020 opening march with Finland and being carried to the hospital on Saturday. The latest report stated that the condition of the Denmark midfielder was stable and awake.

 

The incident occurred after 42 minutes into the match as Eriksen ran near the left touchline and suddenly collapsed. His teammates rushed to him and formed a ring around him while the medic gave him CPR.

 

The medic carried him to the hospital where he regained consciousness.

 

The game between Denmark and Finland resumed an hour and 45 minutes later. Finland came up top with a 1-0 victory.
