AAV Jumps 15% to Bt3.22 in Response to Thailand Re-Opening and SET100 Addition

The share price of Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (AAV) jumped ฿0.42/share or 15% to close the morning session at ฿3.22/share with a trading value of 1,677 million baht on June 17, 2021.

 

The surge came after the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) announced that AAV will be added into SET100 Index in the upcoming semi-annual index review for the period of the second half of 2021 (July 1-December 31, 2021), which gave AAV the opportunity to be included in the funds or institutions that invest in SET100.

Moreover, AAV received second boost from the Thai PM’s announcement that Thailand will be fully opened within 120 days for visitors to boost Thai economy that is suffering from the coronavirus outbreak since early last year.
