Stocks in Focus on July 8, 2021: ASIAN and ASK

KTBST Securities (KTBST) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Asian Sea Corporation Public Company Limited (ASIAN) with a target price at ฿19.00/share.

KTBST expected ASIAN normalized profit in 2Q21E at 236 million baht (+4.4% YoY, +20.5% QoQ). The increase in YoY would be due to the baht depreciation that offset Covid-19 impact on exports. Meanwhile, the QoQ increase would be due to 1) higher gross margin from 16.9% to 17.5% from baht depreciation, 2) contribution from premium commodities and pet food business that recovered from a low season.

 

Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) (MBKET) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Asia Sermkij Leasing Public Company Limited (ASK) with a target price at ฿55.00/share.

MBKET expected strong revenue growth from truck loans and insurance sales. Earnings are likely to make new highs and continue growing QoQ Combines with favorable asset quality, while the valuation is not expensive and the dividend payout is high, this makes it more attractive.
