SCC Reports a Soaring 2Q21 Earnings of THB17 Billion, Offering Bt8.50 Dividend Payment
SCC reported a 82% increase in 2Q21 earnings at 17.1 billion baht, largely due to higher contribution from chemical business.
The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCC) has reported its 2Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
SCC reported a net profit in 2Q21 at 17 billion baht, increased 82.61% from a net profit of 9.3 billion baht in 2Q20. The increase was mainly due to improved chemicals product spreads and equity income while EBITDA rose +39% YoY from higher chemicals product spreads and dividend from associates.its strong revenue from sales of 133,555 million baht in the quarter, representing an increase of 39% YoY from higher chemicals selling prices.
In addition, SCC announced an interim dividend payment of Bt8.50/share to be paid on August 27, 2021. The ex-dividend date is August 13, 2021.
