PTT Issues THB47Bn Worth of Debentures for Institutional and High Net-Worth Investors

PTT issued 5 trenches of debentures worth THB47 billion for institutional and high net worth investors.


PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) announced that, on 6 August 2021, the company has issued unsubordinated and unsecured debentures No. 1/2021 for the total amount of 47,000 million baht to the institutional investors and/or high net worth investors (excluding individuals).

The debentures were issued under the 130,000 million baht Medium-Term Note Program (MTN Program) which was approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Thailand.

 

Reference is made to PTT’s Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on 12 April 2018 which had the resolution to approve PTT’s 5-year fundraising plan (2018 – 2022) for the issuance of debentures in the amount equivalent to Baht 150,000 million to be used for capital expenditure and/or working capital and/or refinancing.

 

The debentures were divided into five trenches as follows;

The debentures have been rated AAA(tha) by Fitch Rating (Thailand) Limited. Bank of  Ayudhya Public Company Limited, Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Kasikornbank Public Company Limited, and Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited were appointed as the arrangers and Bank of Ayudhya Public Company Limited was appointed as the bond representative and the registrar of the debentures.
