CPF Moves Up on Forbes Global 2000 Ranking

Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF) becomes the only SET-listed company from the food sector named in the Forbes Global 2000, an annual ranking of the world’s largest public companies, in 2021.
CPF was ranked at 859 in Forbes 2021 Global 2000 of the World’s Largest Public Companies, up from 1071 in 2020, with total sales of $18.8 billion, profit of $812.3 million, asset value of $25 billion and $7.9 billion of market capitalization. CPF’s sales, profits and total assets performances have witnessed growth despite the impact of the global pandemic since last year.
This recognition on the Global 2000 list reflects the company’s sustainable growth even in the unprecedented crisis of COVID-19 pandemic. The company cites its stringent preventive measures against the outbreak and efficiency improvements throughout the work process are the significant factors for the company’s success.
Forbes Global 2000 is a prestigious business ranking that evaluates listed companies in 63 countries across the world based on four criteria which are sales, profit, assets and market value.
