BCPG’s Earnings Grow 60% to ฿565Mn in 2Q21 over Full Recognition of Power Projects

BCPG Public Company Limited (BCPG) has announced its 2Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

BCPG reported a net profit of 565 million baht in 2Q21, increased 59.27% from a net profit of 354 million baht in 2Q20. The increase was mainly due to higher revenue contribution from its solar and hydro power projects as well as higher share profit from overseas projects.

 

BCPG recognized a full quarter of revenue contribution from new projects including 4 new solar power projects in Thailand (20MW), which the company has acquired since August 2020. The projects also have been improving the efficiency of electricity generation and gradually completed.

 

Meanwhile, higher revenue contribution from the Hydro power project in Lao PDR named “Nam San 3A” and “Nam San 3B” owing to higher rainfall, and higher share of profit from geothermal power plants in Indonesia and wind power plant in the Philippine also contributed to BCPG’s performance in this quarter.
