Stocks in Focus on August 24, 2021: COM7 and AOT

Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) (MBKET) has given a “BUY” recommendation on COM7 Public Company Limited (COM7) with a target price at ฿73.00/share.

MBKET expected demand for mobile phones and IT accessories will continue on an uptrend in the second half of 2021. With good costs and expenses management and an adjustment in product mix, COM7 had shown that in 2Q21, the company had an increase in gross profit margin to 13.4% and a gross profit of 5.1%.

 

Krungsri Securities (KSS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) with a target price at ฿78.00/share.

KSS upgraded AOT to BUY as promising recovery prospects in tourism, as seen in other parts of the world, would drive economic recovery in Thailand. However, KSS cut earnings after trimming tourist arrivals to 0.2m/14m/34m/39m for 2021- 2024.

Nevertheless, KSS expected that AOT should turn profitable again in 2023 and earnings would reach a new high in 2024 driven by per head MGT contribution. The securities company revised up AOT’s target price to Bt78 after moving the valuation base to 2023 to reflect normal operations.
