LHFG Extends Gain by 6% despite the XD Date for Bt0.03 Dividend
Despite being on the first ex-dividend date, the share price of LHFG continued to rise by 6% earlier Friday morning.
The share price of LH Financial Group Public Company Limited (LHFG) extended its gain on Friday despite being on the first day of an ex-dividend date.
LHFG rose ฿0.10/share or 6.71% to ฿1.59/share as of 10:36 local time in Thailand with a trading value of 495 million baht. The stock extended its gain in today’s session after a 21% increase yesterday and a 2% gain a day before.
The Board of Directors of LHFG resolved to issue a Bt0.03 per share of dividend payment to be paid on September 27, 2021 with an ex-dividend date on September 10, 2021.
The surge in share price came after LHFG officially announced through the Stock Exchange of Thailand yesterday that the purchase of the shares has been successfully completed, consequently CTBC holds LHFG shares in aggregate of 46.61% of the total issued and voting shares.
Reference is made to the company’s previous notification informing that CTBC Bank Company Limited (CTBC) has shown the intent to acquire shares from Ms. Piangjai Harnpanij and Mr. Pairoj Paisarnsrisomsuk, in aggregate of 10.99% of the total issued and voting shares and the aforementioned intent has been approved by the Bank of Thailand and regulatory authorities of Taiwan.
