TEAMG Signs a Consultancy Contract for the Development of U-Tapao Airport, 1st Phase
The project aims to upgrade the U-Tapao Airport to be "The 3rd Major Commercial International Airport"
TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Public Company Limited (TEAMG) and TEAM SQ Company Limited (a subsidiary of the company) announce the signing of the Consultancy Contract for Project Management Consultant (PMC) for the development of U-Tapao Airport and Eastern Aviation City, the first phase.
The project aims to upgrade the U-Tapao Airport to be “The 3rd Major Commercial International Airport” as well as to improve the capacity to support the increasing cargo from the commercial and industrial development. This project will be one of the key drivers for the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) and the Aviation Hub of the region.
TEAMG will perform duties to support the operations of the Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) in managing the overall project in the area of 6,500 rai during the first phase of the Public Private Partnership agreement between EECO and the private sector parties. The project period is 52 months, with the project value of 415.61 million baht (VAT Excluded).
