Stocks in Focus on September 22, 2021: SCB and ADVANC

Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) (MBKET) has given a “BUY” recommendation on The Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited (SCB) with a target price at ฿130.00/share.

MBKET stated that SCB will gain positive benefits from collaborating with ADVANC to establish a JV company called AISCB to penetrate the Digital Lending market. They have a very large common customer base. It is believed that this will enable SCB to enter a new customer base that has a much higher rate of return.

 

Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) (MBKET) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (ADVANC) with a target price at ฿218.00/share.

As for ADVANC, MBKET expected AISCB, the new JV, to have the following advantages: There is a customer base that is combined between ADVANC and SCB, which is a very large customer group. This is the driving force for the next synergy, combined with ADVANC’s strong cash flow and consistent, attractive dividend payouts are supporting factors to accumulate stocks.
