Stocks in Focus on October 12, 2021: AOT and MAJOR

Kaohoon Online has selected stocks with a high-growth potential for investors to consider on October 12, 2021.

 

Maybank Kim Eng Securities (Thailand) (MBKET) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) with a target price at ฿72.00/share.

MBKET stated that Thailand will start easing restrictions to allow in-bound with no quarantine. This will potentially attract incoming foreign tourists during the high season. Also, it would end the measure that AOT supports for helping businesses in the airports.

 

Capital Nomura Securities (CNS) has given a “BUY” recommendation on Major Cineplex Group Public Company Limited (MAJOR) with a target price at ฿24.00/share.

CNS stated that normalized revenue in 3Q21 will remain in a net loss side close to 2Q21 around 200 million baht. However, the company will recognize 2.8 billion baht (after tax) of one-time gain from the sales of SF in 3Q21.

CNS estimated the recognition will result in a 2 billion baht of net profit in 2021 after cinemas started to reopen since October 1 and there are blockbuster movies lining up before year’s end. MAJOR traded on 21.5x PER22F and 2.3x P/BV22F while giving a dividend yield of 4-5% and traded 10% below its pre-Covid level.
