A Selloff in Big-Cap Stocks Plunge SET Index by 10pts in Morning Session
SET Index fell more than 10 points before the closing of the morning session due to a selloff in big-cap stocks, especially in the energy sector.
SET Index plunged more than 10 points just minutes before the closing of the morning session on October 19, 2021, on a selloff in big-cap stocks.
As of 12:10 local time in Thailand, SET Index fell 10.74 points or 0.65% to 1,633.18 points with a trading value of 57.6 billion baht, despite positive trading sessions in the Asian market.
Yesterday, the international benchmark Brent crude rose touched $86 per barrel to a new high since October 2018, but close slightly lower at $84.33 and continued to plummet in early morning of the trading session in Asia.
