SCC Forms a New Subsidiary to Operate Logistics Business in the Philippines
The establishment of the new subsidiary is consistent with SCC's strategy of expanding its logistics business throughout ASEAN
The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCC) announced that SCG Logistics Management Company Limited (SCGL), a subsidiary of SCC, has established a new company in the Philippines, which will provide international forwarding logistics services, fleet management services and warehouse management system services, as part of SCC’s strategy to expand logistics business across ASEAN.
The total value of this investment is 10.4 million PHP (approximately 7.8 million Baht). SCGL will hold 100% equity stake in a new company.
SCGL operates logistic business in various countries including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmar and Southern China with connections to Malaysia and Singapore. By expanding to the Philippines, the company will be able to provide a more comprehensive service network.
