Dow Jones closed higher on August 3, 2018, supporting by strong business operation from various companies that had been announced along the week. However, the stock markets were not outstanding much due to the worries of the trade war with China.

European stock markets were increased from tech segments following the U.S. markets, especially APPLE Inc.

New York gold future were increased as a safe assets, afraiding the trade war with China to heat up, a low employment rate announcement, and weaken dollars.
COMEX went increase 3.10 USD or 0.25% for December delivery to close at 1,223.20 USD/ounce
Platinum for October increases 8.7 USD or 1.05% to close at 836.90 USD/ounce
Palladium for September fell 7.6 USD or almost 0.8% to close at 907.90 USD/ounce
WTI crude closed lower after hearing of Russian and Saudi Arabia oil production that may cause an oversupply to the markets.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude for September delivery fell 47 cent or 0.7% to close at 68.49 USD/bbl
Brent crude for October delivery fell 24 cent or 0.3% to close at 73.21 USD/bbl
United States Dollars got weaker when compared to other currencies in New York Foreign Exchange Market from Fed’s FOMC after the announcement of lower employment rate and trade war with China the might increase the intensity.
USD was weaker against JPY from 111.70 JPY to trade at 111.23 JPY, and also weaken against Swiss Franc from 0.9956 SFR to 0.9940 SFR.
Euro was weakened to trade at 1.1664 USD from 1.1579 USD.
Pound was weakened to trade at 1.3127 USD from 1.3009 USD, while AUD got strengthen to close at 0.7399 USD from 0.7404 USD.
