NOK’s Mr. Piya Resigns from Director and Chief Executive Officer Position
After 11 months in the position of Director and Chief Executive officer, Mr. Piya Yodmani has resigned, leaving NOK to elect Mr. Pravej Ongartsittigul as Acting Chief Executive Officer.
Nok Airlines Public Company Limited (NOK) announced a resignation of Mr. Piya Yodmani from Director, Chief Executive officer, through the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET).
The Board of Directors have approved a resignation request from Mr. Piya Yodmani for Director, Chief Executive officer and all Sub-Committee members, effective from August 23, 2018 and Management effective from September 22, 2018.
Mr. Pravej Ongartsittigul, Director, will be Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective from August 27, 2018. NOK expects to find a new director, Chief Executive Officer within 1-3 months.
NOK states that Mr. Piya has an outstanding performance since taking the position. A well management according to the plan given, resulting in 88% “On Time Performance” (on-time flight) in July. Mr. Piya has decided to resign after seeing that NOK has fully appointed executives on each department, believing that NOK will be able to achieve its goal in the future.
