The Supreme Administrative Court has upheld the Administrative Court to address the Expressway Authority of Thailand (EXAT) to pay the compensation to Northern Expressway Company Limited (NECL), a subsidiary of Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), regarding the case of building a competitive expressway, which is against the regulation.
The court has ordered EXAT to compensate BEM on the loss of profits in 1999 for 780.80 million baht plus interest and in 2000 for 1,059.20 million baht plus interest.
