A Big Selloff from Local Institutions Causes the Market to Close -1.43 Point

The market could not hold the 1.78 billion baht selloff from the local institution and closed 1.43 point lower than yesterday.

SET closed at 1,747.99 points, 1.43 or 0.08% lower than yesterday with 42.2 billion baht in value. Investors still worried about the U.S. and China trade war, since the tariffs from both sides have been effective yesterday, and there was not any movements from both sides, yet. Only China who came out and said that they are willing to negotiate only if the U.S. lower its aggression and make a fair deal.
