EA Plunges 4.46% after “Srisuwan” Proclaims EA’s EEC Project is Violating City Plan

Mr. Srisuwan Janya, president of the Stop Global Warming Association, is in the process of filing a complaint with the Administrative Court against the boards of EEC and parties related on October 4, 2018, at 10:30 a.m.
The complaint will be submitted to the court for consideration of halting or withdrawing the new industrial estate project, supporting the development of Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
Mr. Srisuwan said that 50 households or around 200 locals are having trouble with the power plant project owner eviction. The estate around 2,000 rai is parallelled with Bangkok-Pattaya Motorway Road Number 7, and also attached to Bang Pakong Canal. The project’s owner herds the locals out without any public hearing, consideration of environmental and healthcare, which is a violation of city planning and redevelopment law.
The local sources said that the project is owned by Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) that submitted to be a part of EEC developer over 2,000 rai in Chachoengsao Province.
EA’s shares plunged ฿2.25/share or 4.46% to close at ฿48.25/share. The highest of the day is ฿50.75/share and the lowest is ฿47.75/share with 1.87 billion baht in total value.
