AOT Joins SAL Group (Thailand) to Provide Airport Ground Equipment Support
A new establishment of AOT Ground Aviation Services has been found by AOT and SAL Group (Thailand) in order to provide ground equipment services at all airports under AOT’s responsibility.
Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) has entered a joint venture agreement with SAL Group (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (SAL), an airport ground support equipment rental and other services, to establish AOT Ground Aviation Services Co., Ltd. with an aim to provide ground equipment services at all airports under AOT’s responsibility.
The company registration with the Ministry of Commerce had just been completed recently on October 10, 2018.
AOT Ground Aviation Services was established with registered capital of 400 million baht, in which AOT held a 49% stake and SAL held a 51% stake comprised 47% of ordinary shares and 4% of preferred shares (the preferred shares have the same rights as the ordinary shares, except for voting rights at the shareholders meeting which shall be entitled to 10 shares per vote.) And at least 25% must be paid by the shareholders as paid-up capital.
