Meanwhile, McAleenan also reported that about 3,500 immigrants were travelling through southern Mexico, trying to reach the U.S. border, while the second wave consisted of about 3,000 immigrants were at Guatemala-Mexico border. More than half of the immigrants were children alone or parents and children travelling together.
Asides from the Mexico border, there were 800 of U.S. troops heading to harden Texas border and more at California and Arizona borders.
“Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border,” Trump tweeted. “Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process. This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!”
