BCPG’s Profit Grows 5 Times in 3Q18 to Reach ฿1.14bln.!!
An amazing growth from BCPG to book ฿1,139.3 million of profit to its 3Q18 consolidated financial statement. The growth is considered 481.2% increase from 3Q17 mainly due to the gain from solar assets disposal at Nagi and Nikaho in Japan.

In Q318, BCPG recorded net profit of ฿1,139.3 million increased by 481.2% from a year ago (฿196.0 million). The rise was mainly due to (1) a recognition of ฿658.3 million gains (net of relevant expense and corporate income tax) from solar assets disposal at Nagi and Nikaho in Japan (2) an absence of loss from forward contract as booked in Q317 at ฿254.9 million (3) an increase in share of profit from investment in associates by 172.7% from prior year to ฿113.6 million and (4) a decline in administrative expense amounting to ฿46.8 million or decreased by 26.1%.
