Fed Is Likely to Pause Rate Hikes, Giving Investors a Breather

The plummet in stock markets in October was considered a huge fall for any region stock markets. The negative sentiment continued to slump the markets in November, especially the top five US tech section – FAANG – that lost a total of $1 trillion of market capitalization recently.
As stocks slowly return to correction territories, and Market News International (MNI) has, cited unnamed senior officials, reported that Federal Reserve (Fed) is considering at least a pause to its gradual monetary tightening and could end its cycle of interest rate hikes as early as the U.S. spring. Some experts said that the pause could also be supporting the markets.
