SPA Invests ฿125M. to Strengthen Its Synergy Business and Takeover “Chaba Elegance”

Siam Wellness Group Public Company Limited (SPA) has announced that its Board of Directors has approved an investment in Chaba Elegance Co., Ltd. (CHABA) by purchasing the shares total of 349,600 shares, totaling ฿125 million which equivalents to the proportion of 76% of CHABA’s fully paid-up capital.

CHABA’s business is nails spa and eyelash extension business under the brand named Chaba Nails & Spa which was established the first branch in 2009 (Siam Square Soi 2), and now a total of 7 branches. SPA plans to expand Chaba Nails & Spa to 12 branches by the year 2021.

The source of funds is a loan from the financial institution which amount is approximately ฿100 million and the remaining use the operating cash flow, which does not affect the financial position of SPA significantly.

 

SPA and CHABA will gain synergy effect as combined effort of individuals produces an effect greater than the individuals in terms of the expansion of target market and diversity of target market due to most of the company’s customers are foreigners and most of CHABA’s customers are Thai which this reasons will attract more customers from each other with good market strategy.

Moreover, SPA shall recognize the revenue and net profit from investment since 2019 due to CHABA has operated the Nails Spa and Eyelash Extension total of 7 branches which SPA does not have to waste the time of choosing the location and nail and eyelash expertise for its branch expansion. Also, CHABA business does not require a large amount of investment as there are small branches with a short time of payback period.
