AOT’s 1Q19 Profit Grows 2.5% to ฿6.3bln. from Sales and Services

Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) has reported its 1Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

AOT reported a net profit for the three-month period ended December 31, 2018 at 6,375.63 million baht, increased by 156.11 million baht or 2.51% when compared to the same period last year.

Revenues from sales or services increased by 783.99 million baht or 5.37% as a result of an increase in aeronautical revenue of 278.29 million baht or 3.37% and non-aeronautical revenue of 505.70 million baht or 7.94% because of increasing in number of flights and passengers.
Other income increased by 5.04 million baht or 1.27%. Total expenses increased by 542.99 million baht or 7.52% which mainly from an increase in employee benefit expenses, repairs and maintenance, loss on impairment of assets and other expenses. Income tax expense increased by 94.67 million baht or 6.11% which was in line with an increase in profit.
