GULF Achieves All-Time High at ฿100.50, More to Come as MSCI-Laem Chabang 3 to Kick In
Yesterday, GULF closed the session with an all-time high at ฿100.50/share while looking for more from MSCI weight increase and Laem Chabang Phase 3 Project.
Reporters stated that yesterday the share price of Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited (GULF) had reached an all-time high today at ฿100.50/share with a trading value of THB 1.04 billion.
In addition, GULF as one of the GPC Consortium (GULF, PTT, China Harbour Engineering) is waiting for the Port Authority of Thailand to announce the qualifier for the bidding of Laem Chabang Phase 3 Project while having NPC Consortium, including Associate Infinity Co., Ltd., Nathalin Co., Ltd., Prima Marine PLC (PRM), PHS Organic Healing Co., Ltd., and China Railway Construction Corporation Limited, as a competitor.
Moreover, MSCI will also increase weight on MSCI Thailand Index, including GULF, which allowed foreign inclusion factors to increase from 20% to 25%, effectively 29 May onward, and a total of about THB 76 billion fund inflow to MSCI Thailand Index.
