Higher Network and License D&A Hits ADVANC to Report a 6% Decline of Profit in 1Q19

Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (ADVANC) has reported its 1Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

Net profit was reported at THB 7,570 million, declined 5.81% YoY mainly from the higher network and license D&A, following EBITDA expansion and a slight drop in D&A. Meanwhile, the cost of service was THB 19,817 million, increased 15% YoY due to higher D&A and cost of the partnership with TOT. QoQ, the cost of service dropped 2.8% from lower IC cost.

Nevertheless, ADVANC expects its core service revenue to grow mid-single digit, and the dividend payment policy remains the same at 70%.
