CENTEL’s Profit Falls 6.5% to ฿825M in 1Q, Slightly Decrease in Hotel and Food Business

Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited (CENTEL) has reported the 1Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:

CENTEL reported a net profit of THB 825.91 million, a decreased of THB 57.1 million or 6.5% in the 1Q19 compared to the same period of last year at THB 883.04 million from a core operating profit which is Hotel Business and Food business in Thailand. However, CENTEL recognized the revenue of insurance claims totaling THB 80.6M as a result of fire damages that occurred at the Centralworld Shopping Mall, Big C Rajadamri, and Center One 2010.
