NESDC Revises Down Thai GDP in 2019 to 3.6%, Asserting 1Q GDP Creeps 2.8%
NESDC expects the overall GDP in 2019 will grow 3.6%, revised down from the range of 3.5-4.5%.
The National Economic and Social Department Council (NESDC) has revealed that Thailand GDP in the first quarter of 2019 grew by 2.8%, compared to a growth of 3.6% in the previous quarter.
The Expenditure has expanded from the constant growth of Private Consumption, Private Investment and the fast pace of government expenditure. Meanwhile, export also decreased from the effect of economy slow down, as well as industrial, retail, hotel and transportation that started to show a slow pace as well.
NESDC expects the overall GDP in 2019 will grow 3.6%, revised down from the range of 3.5-4.5%.
