Global Markets in Chaos! Oil Plunges 5%, Dow Jones Plunges 400pts in to the Abyss!
Oil fell 5% as trade tension continue while European markets closed lower on May 23, 2019. Dow Jones fell as much as 400 points.
On May 23, 2019, Asia markets all closed lower as the fear of an escalation in trade war between the U.S. and China still tormenting investors, which led to a plummet at the open of European markets and a sharp plunge of Wall Street after the falling of oil price.
Brent Oil Future for July 2019 opened at $70.83/bbl, dipped 0.22% from $70.99/bbl on previous session. However, it fell 4.87% to the lowest of the day (as of 22.10 in Thailand) at $67.53/bbl while the highest was $70.97/bbl. WTI opened at $61.3/bbl, skidded 0.19% from $61.42/bbl in the previous session.
